Mussenden Temple
So I find myself almost six weeks as a full time professional photographer and I haven't been out once to shoot any landscapes. I was contacted by a local community to run one of my six week photography workshops in April & May, with this in mind I decided to refresh my interest in landscape photography and out I went to probably the most iconic locations of Northern Ireland.
Fighting with the dark clouds and the setting sun I captured this stunning silhouette of Mussenden Temple.
I am also very excited about this location as I return here in May to shoot a wedding.

Niall & Sinead Pre-wedding pics
Yesterday I joined Niall & Sinead for their pre-wedding shoot. We traveled to Carrick-a-rede Rope Bridge in Co Antrim and whilst admiring the stunning landscape we discussed plans for their big day and took a few pictures.
Listening to their plans and hearing about Niall's obsession with bikes and Harley Davidsons I sure the day is going to be a hoot!
Looking forward to the big day in Rasharkin, lets hope the weather holds up.

Cul-Erg B&B Portstewart
I have been absolutely delighted with the enquiries and bookings I have received over the last few weeks. Starting out as a new business is quite a daunting process and I am very much appreciative of the support I have had.
Whilst my target audience will be directed toward the wedding market I will continue to work in other photographic areas. Today I found myself photographing the rooms at Cul-Erg B&B in Portstewart, I had to include myself in a few of the shots, one of them was at an empty seat at the breakfast table, this was a little strange as I dont usually find myself the opposite side of the camera but needs-must. Jimmy & Anna Pre-wedding Pics
What a delightful day after all the bad weather we have had over the past while, it was just perfect to get out with the camera.
Today Jimmy and Anna whom are set to wed in August spent the morning with me looking at locations and posing for a handful of portraits. They are such a lovely couple and were completely natural in front of the camera, come the big day they will know exactly what to expect and we will be able to make lots of great images.

So Friday is here the weekend is upon us. After a very busy week sorting out images for a boxing event, some family portraits and a few other things I now prepare myself for meeting a lovely new couple that are due to be married this summer.
While I'm not out doing portraits, weddings or events I am constantly looking at new trends and fashions to integrate into my fledgling photography business, I plan over this year to establish a unique photographic style that new clients will love and want to share with the world. This also gives me a perfect opportunity to market myself differently from other wedding photographers in Northern Ireland.
The sun is shining and hopefully it lasts.
